President – Frank Kusmer

We want to see people who have worked hard building a project or business succeed in their goals.” Frank is known as a transformational business leader engaging others through respect and trust. In addition to financial planning, Frank has extensive experience for over 20 years in mergers and acquisitions, strategy development and business change. Raised near Chicago Illinois, he was deeply influenced by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit and his family's values, including integrity, optimism, and creativity. His father owned a real estate contracting business and he understands the work ethic and drive required to be successful in a private business. Frank places a strong emphasis on building the capacity of people, connectivity and bottom line results. He holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University, where he majored in Organizational Development. His skills include analysis, strategic business transformation, change management, risk assessment, project management, negotiation, legal process and performance management. Frank loves sports, the arts, travel, tennis, and is a member of a non-profit board helping unemployed men return to the workforce. He developed the Harmony Matrix© – a framework for understanding and shifting an organization’s culture and strategy toward a higher functioning and self-sustaining enterprise. |

Associate – Vicki Sawyer
Formerly working with a direct private lender, Vicki brings a wealth of real estate financing experience to the Equasis team. From single family homes to commercial and multifamily developments, she excels at creating a win/win situation for all parties involved. Her expertise at real estate fundraising has allowed projects to proceed which would otherwise have had no traditional sources open to them. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence provides a solid foundation that clients have come to trust and rely upon. Vicki has an Hons BBA from Wilfred Laurier University. Past experiences have included adult education, program management, technology business development and entrepreneurship. She has also had the opportunity to develop her skills internationally in Australia and Asia. Vicki was born and raised in Canada and enjoys travelling, the arts, fine dining, hiking, and has a commitment to lifelong learning and growth. |
