Our clients are typically corporate borrowers seeking to expediently receive creative loan terms without brokers or agent chains. Lenders we work with are best in class and have closed billions in loans.
Who We Are
Frank Kusmer - Born and raised in Illinois, Frank was deeply influenced by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit and family values. His father was a real estate developer so he understands the work ethic and drive required to be successful in a private business. Frank has a BBA and over the past 35 years he has experience in senior management, project management, strategy development, business brokerage and debt financing. Frank places a strong emphasis on transparency, analytical accuracy and bottom line results.
Vicki Sawyer - Vicki has an Honours BBA. She was born and raised in Canada and formerly worked as a mortgage broker. She also worked in originations for a direct private lender, securing debt financing for commercial and multifamily developments. Her expertise at real estate fundraising allowed projects to proceed which would otherwise have had no traditional sources open to them. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence provides a solid foundation clients have come to trust and rely upon.

How do you work with borrowers? We work directly with borrower decision makers throughout the loan process. We discuss initial loan requirements and options, review loan documents for accuracy and appropriateness, coordinate borrower – lender discussions, and support communication through due diligence until loan closure.
Where are your lenders located? In the US.
Do you work with agents? Borrower referrals with no associated fees are always appreciated. We do not accept referrals involving success fees or referral fees. Referring agents are not included in communications with our lenders.
Do you work with brokers? No, we no longer work with brokers. We work with borrowers who come to us directly.
Do you work on Canadian loans? Yes, please contact us with your loan requirements.
Do you work on loans outside of North America? Yes, for companies with appropriate collateral, cash flow and audited financials.
What are Equasis' fees? Lenders cover fees for our origination and pre-underwriting services.
Are there any up front fees? We do not have any up front fees. Lenders typically have standard due diligence deposits to enter into formal underwriting.
Is confidentiality protected? Yes confidentiality is strictly protected, including using non-disclosure agreements when necessary.
